The INSEAD Europe Campus is located on the edge of the Forest of Fontainebleau and just a stone's throw away from the town centre. It lies within easy reach of all major airports and rail systems connecting Paris with the rest of the world.

From Paris
By Train
Trains to Fontainebleau leave from the Gare de Lyon in Paris.
At the Gare de Lyon go to the 'Ile de France/Banlieu' counter (NOT 'Grandes Lignes') to buy your ticket for 'Fontainebleau/Avon'.
The final destination of your train can be any one of the following; Montereau, Montargis, Sens or Laroche-Migennes. This is what will be displayed on the Departures board.
They leave from any one of two sets of platforms - yellow 'numbered' platforms (5-23) at one end of the station and blue 'lettered' (A-N) platforms at the other. (all about the Gare de Lyon)
The closed circuit TV screen at the head of the platform announces all the stops. Make sure that your train stops in Fontainebleau.

Free INSEAD Shuttles from Fontainebleau Station
Monday to Friday you are welcome to take the INSEAD shuttle bus operated by Véolia.
The morning drop-off shuttle stops first at the Euro-Asia centre and then in front of the main reception.
The evening shuttle leaves from in front of the main reception every day except Wednedsays, when it leaves from the the traffic light on rue Paul Tavernier on the other side of the Boulevard de Constance. Check bus stand map here.

(north of Paris and approximately 100 kms from Fontainebleau).
By Taxi
Travel time: approximately 1 hour and 30 mins.
By Coach+Train
Travel time : approximately 2 hours.
Take the coach from Charles de Gaulle Airport to the Gare de Lyon.
Or take the RER Line B (Metro-Train) to the Gare du Nord, change to RER line D to the Gare de Lyon.

From Orly airport
(south of Paris and approximately 45 kms from Fontainebleau).

Parking facilities
INSEAD provides 850 free car parking spaces on campus for staff, participants and visitors:
- North outdoor car-park - Open 24/7 except when the marquee is installed
- EAC (Euro-Asia Centre) outdoor car-park - Open 7 a.m.- 8 p.m. Monday to Friday; Badge accessible 7 a.m.- 8 p.m. on weekends.
Closed from 8 p.m.- 7 a.m. - Underground car parks (under the library and the Plessis Mornay building) - Open 24/7
- Car park under Residence 2 - Badge accessible only
There are spaces reserved for disabled persons in all of the parking lots.
Students and participants will be given a parking sticker on arrival.
