Research on Abu Dhabi Campus

 

The research activities undertaken at the INSEAD campus will focus on global issues as well as issues with relevance to the Middle East, covering areas such as humanitarian logistics, human resources management, and information and communication technology.

 

INSEAD Africa Initiative

The INSEAD Africa Initiative aims to increase Africa's presence at INSEAD and INSEAD's presence and relevance in Africa and other emerging markets. This initiave reinforces our mission of creating a global mindset, learning from unfamiliar settings, and broadening our international network. We aim to be a catalyst for development in Africa, while leveraging the knowledge we gain to promote effective business practices in other regions.


INSEAD Innovation and Policy Initiative (IIPI)

The INSEAD Innovation and Policy Initiative was set up in April 2010 on the Abu Dhabi campus to work with governments across the Middle East region on innovation policy related issues. Its mission is to become a leading resource and knowledge hub on the role of government in fostering innovative activities in businesses and the wider community.


INSEAD Abu Dhabi Socio-Economic Research Team

The INSEAD Abu Dhabi Socio-Economic Research Team conducts socio-economic research in areas of strategic importance for the realization of the socio-economic vision and development of Abu Dhabi and the UAE. Core research areas are Private equity, Entrepreneurship in emerging markets, Public private partnership (PPP), Social innovation and social entrepreneurship, and Organizational change and innovation.


INSEAD Social  Innovation Centre (ISIC) Abu Dhabi

The INSEAD Social Innovation Centre is an inclusive platform for cross-disciplinary research and engagement in the area of social innovation. It brings together a diverse group of research teams exploring innovative solutions in business and policy to address global social and environmental challenges. The research groups and initiatives are: Corporate Social Responsibility & Ethics, Healthcare Management Initiative, Humanitarian Research Group, Social Entrepreneurship and Sustainability.


Change Masters Middle East

This INSEAD research and development project aimed at understanding the key challenges of implementing change in Middle Eastern organisations, and based on this knowledge the GulfCom Simulation was developed. This simulation belongs to INSEAD's cutting-edge experience-based learning innovations on change management and collaboration and can be used for the training of change agents' competences required to successfully implement change in Middle Eastern organisations.
